Join us for a supportive and informative class to explore the menstrual cycle. We'll delve into the four phases of the menstrual cycle, discuss body changes, and explore various options for supporting yourself during all the parts of "your month." This class is open to all ages and genders. Together, let's break down the stigma and celebrate the natural rhythm of our bodies! Location: Burr Ridge Birth Center Cost: $20 All ages and genders are welcome, especially pre-teens who are preparing for their first period, new parents who are navigating postpartum, or those who are experiencing the signs and symptoms of (peri)menopause. What to Expect: A supportive, inclusive, and informative class about the menstrual cycle. A discussion on body changes at different points in our lives, the full spectrum of hygiene options & holistic support ideas! We'll discuss how to "troubleshoot" a few things that might be bothersome about your period. We will also talk about finding a healthcare provider who can help you achieve your family-building goals, get to the root of any issues you might experience, most importantly-- make you feel empowered to take control of your health.
